Our Team

Angela Glass
Office Manager/Veterinary Assistant
Angela has worked in the veterinary field for 18yrs. She has been at Dogwood Park Animal Clinic for 7 years. She is our Office Manager and is also one of our Veterinary Assistants. She has loved animals since she was little and has always known that she wanted to work in a field to help them. She enjoys client education and has a soft spot for the older and “special needs” patients.
Angela has three kids that keep her busy with their extracurricular activities such as basketball, soccer, and archery. Her kids and her also enjoy spending time with their three cats, two goats, and many chickens and guineas. Angela’s favorite breed of dog is a boxer, so watch out as she gives them tons of hugs and kisses.

Lauren
Certified Veterinary Assistant
My name is Lauren, and I’m a Certified Veterinary Assistant with almost 2 years on our team. My inspiration for pursuing a veterinary career comes from my compassion for animals who can’t speak up for themselves, and I strive to be their voice. I love helping animals of all kinds, but I have a special place in my heart for special needs cases. I focus on helping owners and their pets communicate better, strengthening the bond between them. Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my German Shepherds, training, doing obedience work, and enjoying the outdoors, as well as cuddling with my beloved cats. My advice for aspiring veterinary technicians is that there will always be good days and bad days, but every day is a good day if you’re able to help an animal in need. One of my favorite quotes is, “To the world you may be just one person, but to your pet you are their entire world.” The best part of working with animals and my team is the opportunity to learn something new every day, educate others, and help animals while supporting each other.

Kaylan
Certified Veterinary Assistant
My name is Kaylan, and I’m a Certified Veterinary Assistant with 4 years of experience prior, and I’ve been with the team for 9 months now. My passion for helping animals and educating clients drives me in my veterinary career. There are too many favorite cases to count, but I cherish the opportunity to utilize my skills in an environment where I’m accepted for who I am. I’m excited to learn and grow in every aspect of veterinary care—truly, I enjoy all of it. Outside of work, I’m passionate about farming and anything related to chickens. My advice for aspiring veterinary technicians is simple: you have to love what you do and embrace everything that comes with the job. One of my favorite quotes is, “It’s a good day to save lives.” The best part of working with animals and my team is the chance to save lives, educate clients about their pets’ care needs, and be part of a team that supports each other every day.

Mandy
Veterinary Technician Assistant
My name is Mandy, and I’m a Veterinary Technician Assistant with 1 year of experience on our team. My inspiration for pursuing a career in veterinary care comes from my desire to help our fur babies stay healthy. There are so many favorite cases, but one that stands out is a Golden Retriever who came in for not eating. She was diagnosed with pyometra, and just a few days later, she was back to her excited, normal self! I’m eager to learn more about being a better surgery technician, and I’m passionate about growing in this field. Outside of work, I love photography and run my own photography business! My advice to aspiring veterinary technicians is to get out there and learn as much as you can. One of my favorite quotes is, “A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work.” The best part of working with animals and my team is the camaraderie—being part of a group that feels like both a team and a group of friends.
